Montpellier has an extremely good transport infrastructure. There is a modern tramway system within the town which is currently being extended towards the beaches. There is also public car parking for around 12,000 vehicles underneath and around the old town.

Access in and out of town to connect with the A9 motorway is straightforward and it takes only around 15-20 minutes by car to get from a carpark under the old town to the beach area at Maguelone which comprises 9 kilometers of sandy beach in a protected wetland area.

The St Roch train station from which TGV’s connect Montpellier with Paris (Gare de Lyon) and Charles De Gaulle airport numerous times per day is approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Montpellier airport has scheduled flights from London and Paris. Carcassonne and Marseille airports have scheduled connections to Dublin.
